Default Odd QVC CPO Cap Badge

Hi All
I just found this odd QVC badge which I assume must be a CPO's cap badge but with the letters NHD embroidered above the anchor. Unfortunately a bit mothed but still not too bad. The only things I can think would be Naval Hospital Depot or perhaps Naval Hospital Devonport, something like that.
Any ideas?
Thanks, cheers,
Alex

Default Odd QVC CPO Cap Badge

Hi Alex

Certainly NEVER been such a thing as a Naval Harbours Department in Britain. Don 't know if there may have been elsewhere in the Commonwealth.

Not sure about Naval Hospital Devonport ? It was officially "The Royal Naval Hospital" at Stonehouse .

It is possible/probable that it was "unofficially" called the Naval Hospital Devonport by locals/base personel as it was situated nearby .
