Thanks to forum members
After much appreciated help from some of the forum members, who put me onto
The proper people and I’d like to give them my best wishes . The badges came from Tels insignia and the knife from Roy Shadbolt. They all made it to Australia and have been mounted on the display frame. Just thaught I’d share the photo . Kind regards Quinn |

Being a Sapper, I would have thought a GviR Royal Engineers cap badge would have been appropriate to add to this superb display.

I dont know the background to the post but I assumed he is family, regardless the display is a very fitting tribute to him, you should rightly be very proud of what you've achieved.

One of the best mountings I've seen Quinn,
Very well done, a real credit to you. And it was a pleasure to play just a small part. Cheerio, Roy

Great display, but as a private soldier in the Parachute Regiment (or in the Kings Own Royal Regiment) he would be a Private, as Sapper is the private soldier rank in the Royal Engineers only....

Looks like I made a mistake. But the displays been made and at just under $3000
Aussie dollars it’s a bit to change it but I’m happy . So thanks anyway |
