Ceylon Volunteers FS cap c.1900-1910
a recent pick up before Christmas, came with no buttons or badge which I have replaced, I have used white metal GS buttons a sworn by Vols bn's for now and a Ceylon Mounted Rifles cap badge. The silver braid on the curtain signifies senior nco.

Just beautiful!! I only have two fs caps in my collection...but it is a really nice headress to collect (hope to get more in the future)...and the owner markings are great! Thats make the cap even more interesting!

I do appreciate it, like many other items shown, I do it in silence as otherwise my envy would be more apparent. |
