Have just seen bobblehat44 post. So thought I would ask the forum to look at my two.
The one with slider looks the same as bobblehats but what about the badge with repaired lugs ? Look forward to your comments. Chris 88098B7E-C133-4C2B-908E-2EC2D465AE19.jpg 79CD50D5-8785-4D46-81CC-A9A49E68A77C.jpg 4F00B5E6-C90D-4A0C-8B50-C96F83AA8E3D.jpg |

The one with the slider is a fake, the repaired one is a good original

Is there any known manufacture's variation that was used for the TF badge? I wonder just how many TF badges around are regular altered badges. Regards, Paul.

|The repaired badge looks like it has had the HINDOOSTAN section removed from the top so its actually a mucked about line regiment example. have a careful look at the top edge of the badge.

The lugged badge is likely to be 1897-1903 ish by its fixings and construction.
The Leics TF started in 1908 and wore badges with verticak shanks as far as I know. Alan |
