Looking for an ID on the sleeve/proficiency badge below, please gents... 'sniper'?.. 'surveyor'?.. other?

As you probably know, sniper badges usually use rifles in the badge and the 'Survey' badges look a little 'grander' (i.e. surrounded by a wreath etc) than the one shown in the photo. Spotter, Stretcher....... On a light note it could even be the regiments 'Santa'.....

I would go with BWEF ... Stretcher Bearer ... based on the position of the S.
