Scottish Sweethearts.
I'm not getting much joy with the full sized badges that are on my wants list, so I thought that I would try my luck with some of the miniature versions. Here are three that have come my way recently, all are in hallmarked silver and were made at the start of the Great War in Henry Tatton's Edinburgh workshop.

Very nice they are too!!! And I know what you mean about Scottish badges you want - either hard to find or very pricey!!!

Many thanks for your kind words, chaps, I think that I unintentionally gave the impression that I had started collecting sweethearts because I couldn't find the full size versions, that isn't really what's happened. Some of the remaining badges on my wants list seem virtually unobtainable and I've got very fed up with not finding anything. Hence, the new interest in sweethearts, and something different to search for, and, hooray, the postperson has actually started to call again!
