Unknown Para Badge
Good Day All
Figured I would post this here rather than Canada Forum as I believe it MAY BE more European. My local Royal Can. Legion Branch recently received some memorabilia from the family of a deceased veteran and I have no idea which country it is from. It looks like a Polish para badge but not quite. Would appreciate and comments as to origin. Thanks in advance Jim Camirand |

Jim,
I don't think it is Polish (though happy to be proved wrong). Design looks similar to some Italian badges, however I can find nothing like it my Italian para reference material. Also, I think it is more a unit badge rather than a para qual. Ian

Thanks Colin appreciate the quick response. nice to know (less embarrassing) what and where an item is from when you are going to have it displayed to the public...
Thanks again Jim Camirand |
