Default (Not so) interesting RA cap badge?

Dear forum,

I recently acquired this cap badge along with a number of Great War cap badges. It struck me as of as it seems slightly larger than usual and is quite roughly cast.

Is it anything interesting or just a bog standard badge?

Many thanks,

Hopefully one of the Canadian chaps will chip in to confirm but if I recall correctly I think this is post WW1 variety. Believe the WW1 version has ĎCanadaí in stead of Ubiqie on the uppermost scroll.

Cheers,
Luke

Its post 1926 when the Canada banner was replaced with Ubique, but is of a later production and almost certainly WW2.

I just don't understand why some don't comply with the listed forum rules and say if they need info in order to sell an item. Regards, Paul.

Hello all,

Iím very sorry if Iíve offended or upset anyone. Considering itís only a Cap badge worth less than £10 Iím surprised anyone is that bothered.

I donít collect Canadian badges so put it straight on eBay as itís of no use to me. It is of course for sale to any forum member and can be a much better price. Please send me a PM if you are interested.

Again my thanks to those of you who helped point me in the right direction. I searched the web based on your opinions, which were of course spot on as usual! Itís nice to know what you have, especially as a young enthusiast with much to learn!

If you happen not to have read forum rules- fair enough, you made a genuine error.
I would like to hope you had not noticed the rules page before, and that this is not another case of someone not being 'bothered' about them. Regards, Paul.

You don't need to be Sherlock Holmes to see that this dealer has been pretending to be a private collector.

Sorry but this is not in the spirit of the forum.
