I have an antique pin/ brooch with a stag's head and I am wondering if it might be a Seaforth Highlanders sweetheart pin. Any ideas?

I don't think so, if it would have been as you state i think at least the motto would have been present. Also white metal would have been more logical. Thistles, stag's heads and cairngorms are fairly universally used in Scottish ornaments. Depending on size it might be a plaid brooch.

The exact design of the stag’s head is certainly identical to that used by the Seaforth Highlanders since 1898.
