Default 2nd Gurkhas unusual buttons

I thought I'd share a couple of recent acquisitions ( from a forum member - thanks Kev) I've never seen them before and they're not recorded in the Gurkha Museum's book on the insignia of the 2GR. They're brass (in itself unusual for Gurkha buttons ) - semi domed - the larger ones are 18mm and the smaller 12mm. They've clearly come from the same uniform however they appear to have to different makers. Two of the six larger ones are marked Pitt & Co Maddox St London. and 3 of the 4 cuff buttons are marked Gaunt London.
From the design of the crest I believe they must be post 1909 - but I suspect not long after. I think they would have come from an officers mess dress of some kind - delighted to have them - I'm keeping two for my own collection but will be happy to exchange others for interesting Gurkha buttons.
