Default W.W.1 Derbyshire Rgt. and a O.T.C. Cambridgeshire Rgt

Can I get your opinions on these please.

Derbyshire Rgt. Don’t likes :-

The Crown is offset (arch of crown less to left side).
The “SH(damaged or faulty Jig?)ERWOOD” ———— “FORESTERS” the “R,s appear raised”?
Rear colouring, artificial aging? or is it varnish?
Sharpness to edges

Likes :-
Crimp mark on Slider.
“DERBYSHIRE” front font.

Would like to be original but have not seen one to compare against, I expect it to be wrong?

The Cambridgeshire Officer’s O.T.C. sharpness to rear gives me concern but can anyone see if there is a definite way to say good or bad?

Many thanks Billy

The KC Derbyshires are complete fantasy items. Several threads on here about them over the years. The title was changed at same time as the crown.

Default Cambridge OTC

I like this badge, IMO a good one, others may differ.

As for the Derbyshire KC, as Luke has said it has been the subject of numerous threads.

Hi Rob thank you for your assessment, was hoping you would see this! Must be the only one not to have seen any threads on the Derbyshire badge! Will contact seller and return, thank you all, billy

Just from the the photographs, I think the Sherwood Forester's you show is of recent manufacture, however, I have encountered this badge actually made from two perfectly original badges, both being therefore ruined, as no such badge was worn by the regiment.
