Default Unknown Greek badge

Hi all,

Once I knew what this badge was but now its memory and my notes escape me. Is it a commando/special forces badge or has the British heat truly addled my brain, cheers Dean

Hello Dean
Good to chat again. There was a Cyprus Commando, briefly in WW2, and their badge was based on the Ligurian lion (I think that was the official name) - but it was upright and in silver. The badge you have is the Cyprus Home Guard as already identified. I believe collar badges lacked the scroll. Hoping this is helpful.
Regards
Mike
