Default 11th North Devon Glengarry

Not an era I know very much about mostly because I can't afford it, but I have dipped my toe in the water with these two.

The shiny one I bought several years ago for less than average fake money assuming it to be a modern fake.

The corroded broken example fell on my door mat this morning, it appears to have had lugs north and south and I presume its a genuine issue badge.

But they appear to be from the same die, the shiny one has flattened brass lugs east and west, could it be an early "Fox" fake?

And what's the best way to remove blue tack?
