2nd London Scottish pagri
The usual sources will tell you how the 2/14th London had a smaller pagri badge made up by Gaunt while serving in the Middle East in WW1. I picked up this example not because I'm convinced it's genuine, but simply because I've never seen one 'in the flesh' before, nor can I find modern coloured photos of it. K&K (vol.1, p.443 and fig.1842) says that it was 'bronze painted', whatever that means; clearly this one is plain GM, but I like the pin back and Gaunt tablet (and yes, I know these are often faked). Does anyone have an actual example to show, or even just more information?

I have one in my files from a reputable dealer site, yours is fine.
Pretty much the last London WW1 badge I'm after myself. |

Hi,
I agree the badge in the first post is a good one. Here are my London Scottish to show relative sizes. Cheers, Tinto |

Lettman,
Your badge looks Kosher to me. Here is mine for comparison: Cockney Jocks 2nd Bn a.jpg Cockney Jocks 2nd Bn b.jpg |

Thanks -- I guess mine has been polished up somewhat by an over-enthusiastic previous owner!
