Default help ID dug button

This button was found in North America around Lake Erie. It has the crown over what appears to be W R ? I am horrible with the old English block letters. Backmarks are Jennens & Co. London. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Is it possible to attach this button to a particular unit that was in N America at this time.....is it most likely an officers button with the gold gilt?

It looks very much like a Livery or hunt button rather than military. Kevin
