Friends ambulance unit China badge
Hello Folks
Picked this badge up last year ,in the early morning gloom i thought it was a festival of Britain badge until i got home and looked a little more closely. Its actually an individually numbered F.A.U badge from the contingent sent to China in 1941. Wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friends%27_Ambulance_Unit Book on the China convoy http://www.sacu.org/fau.html Does anyone have a copy of the book to hand (its on my 'to get' list) and would it be possible to check if the badge number corresponds to any individual listed in a roll of personnel in the book (if it exists in the book that is ) T.I.A |

They have some FAU records from WW1 and possibly from WW2 as well. If they turn out not to have the WW2 records, they will know who does: https://www.quaker.org.uk/resources/library
