Some nice badges. Nothing wrong with them, some good makers too.
Theres always new examples of anodised badges turning up. Unfortunately, there isnt a definative list as to who marked which badge in which way. The list in "No Bull" acts as a guide for collectors.
You could produce a table with each badge listed with the slider mark reference numbers against it. But you would need to include blank sliders and lugged versions too for completeness.

Default Thanks Mike

Thankyou Mike,
Theres so many variations that ive seen in A/A.
I figured the list at the back of the No Bull was a definitive list.
Thanks for clearing.
As you say, a decent display, so one of my lads will no doubt want them.
Once again thanks
Jon

I think Chris used known examples at the time to compile the list . Thats why he did the various posts regarding makers marks.

I don't think there's ever been a book produced for collectors that has everything in it.
Probably because no-one knows everything.

Of course not Peter.
The only way to do it would be if you could get a complete production list of all the companies.
Something like that could be done nowadays with the use of computers. But back then,i bet half the jobs werent noted down.

Agree and the problem also being the amount of paperwork that has since been destroyed.

Of the one's shown I only have the Royal Tank Regt badge and I have eleven (11) versions of it.
Just for information I have around forty five (45) variations/versions of the Royal Engineer A/A badge.

Thanks Mike, if I was to list ALL my A/A badges and the various versions I would be here all day.
For those who can see my albums.
