Not trivial at all BC,
Thanks for sharing. I find that Australia's UN Deployments are seriously under researched. I've actually taken it up as a specific area of research and I intend to produce blog articles for various 'Faceblab' groups and forums like this one... untill we are able to publish them as include them in a hard copy form as part of a new or revised book. Kind regards and thanks for sharing Mark

BC,
Here are some images of some UN Deployment insignia that you would appreciate. The MINURSO is actually one of my all time favourite Australian Army insignia items. Mine will be donated to the AWM in due course... where it should be, so others get to know a bit more about that deployment. Next, if you like the Joint Security Area (Padmoonjon) items depicted, then I have just acquired the 'HQ UNC' insignia worn by personnel posted to Seoul as well. I have yet to even photograph those. Actually, I expected they wouldn't see the light of day until we covered WWII and Korean War period insignia in a new book. So, a place like this or on the books' blog site, is about the only place I can publish them for a while Yours in collecting, research and writing Mark

A while ago I visited one of the many army museums in Townsville and was interested to see a list of ALL the far flung places where Australian personnel have been deployed since WW2. There were a lot.
