1st Can Para Veteran - PTSD
Hello all,
I recently added a biography that will be part of my mental health page in my virtual museum. I have encountered a few 1st Can Para veteran's who took their own life, however, most families requested I don't publish it. The Mackenzie family, on the other hand, was willing to allow me to tell his story. Your feedback is welcomed. I hope you enjoy learning a little more about Lloyd Mackenzie. https://1stcanparamuseum.com/soldier...loyd-mackenzie

Oh my, what a tragic story.
Very well written Coogan and a great tribute to him. Roy |

Ive had a few mates commit suicide, the last was only last year. He set fire to himself. Our NHS cant deal with PTSD, they just pump you full of drugs. And if they dont work they pump you with some more.

Thank you for your feedback guys, unfortunately, veterans during that time period and prior certainly didn’t have the supports in place like today. However, we still continue to see the current veteran’s ending their life. Very complicated.
Cheers
