Default 4th Pioneers AIF

I would be most gratefull if any Forumite could post the badge of the 4th Pioneers AIF - and to save me making endless requests,could they recommend an appropriate book/website which illustrates Australian insignia ?

They wore the standard AIF "Rising Sun" hat badge.

The standard books on Australian Badges are the set of 3 (now somewhat hard to find) books that Jeff Cossum wrote in the mid 1980s.

There will be a website coming soon about Australian militaria (badges, patches, medals etc).

Its still being worked on and is not yet up.

WW1 Australian Enamel Sweethearts Badge - 4th Pioneer Battalion
Sorry don't have the Unit colour patch,, but the sweetheart badge shows unit colour
