Default 23rd London Regt Date Variants?

I have just bought these two 23rd London cap badges along with the red on khaki cloth title(not shown). What is the significance if any of the date variations '1900-2' and '1900-02'?

thanks Mark

They are makers' variations. The 19th Londons also have date variations - 1899 or 1900 depending on the die.
