Mike if you are looking for the Lord Strathcona's Boer War badge, try Jaime Cline. She had one a few weeks ago.

1st Canadian shoulder
I have a couple of the "1st Canadian" shoulders but I had them identified as CEF 1st Bn. Cross has them on page 4 for the 1st Bn CEF ??????

Mike,
Are you certain about the LSH being a South African War vintage shoulder badge. Looks to me more like First World War. The Regiment's official name was Strathcona's Horse, but it was sometimes called Lord Strathcona's Corps. Wyn |

Hello Larry..... The 4 badges in the lower left are definately Boer War... I also have seen some WW1 badges and they are very similar but not the same..... The 5th May be a WW1 badge but was told that it also may be from 4th or 5th contingent...... Mike Last edited by QSAMIKE; 15-12-08 at 06:38 AM. |
