Good to hear you're being put back together again, Dave, and getting better. Take it easy, and leave those nurses alone!

Anyway, you are without a doubt, the greatest bunch of men I have ever met, my daughter Jayne printed off about 90 of your messages and they proved to be a source of inspiration and comfort to me, I have read them more times than is actually healthy for me, I am a big softie really ! I can remember crying while watching SHANE......
I have to be short, tiring already ! I'm having an ICD fitted, hopefully tomorrow and I should be home on Friday.
One last point for this message and that is the tremendous pride I now feel when reading Andy's post leader, I am not worthy of the expression " man down ", taken in it's true sense, I am mearly another bloke, so for Andy to use it, I find a lump in my throat every time I read it.
Thanks for that Andy, you have made me a proud man as have all the concern shown by everyone, I have to go, I'm spent ? but I will be back, love you all, in a manly way of course.
Dave,
Dave,
"Man Down" is a term used when one of your mates, comrades or buddies is hurt or unwell.... Fully justified in this case!

You just concentrate on getting better (the repairs are backing up ALL OVER THE WORLD! )

Andy

Great to see you posting again Dave, ICD is that one of those big tellys?

Keep up the good recovery, mate.

No Phil, don't be daft.

An ICD is one of those things you have fitted to stop you from getting pregnant.

Sounds painful Dave, I'd opt for the telly mate as the pregnancy thing might lead to comments about man love and this is a family forum

Hi Dave ,
I really was so pleased to read your posting from yesterday, "in a manly way of course" you just get well and bugger the badge repairs they can wait, Take it from someone who knows your health is absolutely everything. Just you get back to good health and try and have a break/holiday if you can. Best wishes mate.Andy.
