The worst possible news, very sorry to hear that, he always struck me as being both, a very decent type of gentleman and really sincere too.

I know from the help, guidance and generosity to a friend what a thoroughly decent person Roger was, a true expert in his subject matter. He will be surely missed.

Always sad when someone with a vast store of knowledge passes away. All the more if that person is, clearly, pleased to share that knowledge.

I did not know the individual in question, but I have been fortunate enough to know people like him and treasure the contact that I have with them.

Pat thank you for sharing. I only really knew Roger from his forum posts but on the one occasion I purchased some buttons from his website he was most helpful and also extremely generous in what he sent me, which comes as no surprise seeing all of the comments made here. A most generous man with his time and knowledge and I was very sorry to hear of his passing. Please pass on my condolences to his family.
