Have recently picked up this numeral 2. Wondering if anyone could give me any detail. Very similar to 2nd Queens, however only seen this numeral in brass. Wondering if Australian? When worn? By Whom? Have taken photo with 33rd numeral to show approx size.

Could it be a UK Police shoulder ID number? Probably chrome these days so some age to it. Same type of spade lug used on British shoulder titles.

I have a feeling it may belong to the Australian Voluntary Aid Detachment
WW2, the PowerHouse Museum have a couple of examples, 3 6 and they are very similar including the spade lugs. Just seeing if anyone can confirm or...
