ebay craziness
I'm amazed at some of the prices for badges on eBay!
This is just crazy - link here. $2076 for a badge worth $300-400 tops (and with only 1 lug!!) Mick ps It was worn before they got to Kokoda.

Well Mick, you have topped my recent post - $525 paid on e-bay for a common $60 CEF badge! Although mine wins on percentage over value paid, yours wins on the absolute value of money wasted!

It's rare but not $2000 rare.
I'd say it would be worth around AUD$300 so about GBP170-180 or so. I have seem quite a few of these over the last few years - I saw a 55 Collingwood officer badge for $2200 or so a couple of weeks ago on ebay but that badge is the first I have ever seen and is super rare. This one is relatively easy to find in comparison. Mick
