ebay craziness
I'm amazed at some of the prices for badges on eBay!
This is just crazy - link here. $2076 for a badge worth $300-400 tops (and with only 1 lug!!) Mick ps It was worn before they got to Kokoda.

Trumped!
Well Mick, you have topped my recent post - $525 paid on e-bay for a common $60 CEF badge! Although mine wins on percentage over value paid, yours wins on the absolute value of money wasted! Cheers, Ian.

I have seen quite a few Australian badges in recent times go well over the odds - and medals too!

Mick,
I've just looked at the exchange rate for UK to Australian dollars and that is one huge price in UK money. It must be one rare badge! Matti |

It's rare but not $2000 rare.
I'd say it would be worth around AUD$300 so about GBP170-180 or so. I have seem quite a few of these over the last few years - I saw a 55 Collingwood officer badge for $2200 or so a couple of weeks ago on ebay but that badge is the first I have ever seen and is super rare. This one is relatively easy to find in comparison. Mick
