Southern Rhodesia Armoured Car Regiment

Hi all,
I have acquired this set of Southern Rhodesia Armoured Car Regiment
badges,and I was looking online for info about this unit.I found some good info,but if anyone here has anything to share about the Regiment,please do so.
I was wondering if they had any connection to the LRDG OF WW2?Thanks in advance!

With Bill doing his stuff on the complex history of this unit this is the easy bit.
Because I'm struggling with the hyperlinks...look at the Southern Rhodesia Reconnaissance Regiment thread on page 2 of this section. Chingola's hand made examples are a treasure.
On page 5 is a thread on the Southern Rhodesia Commando and this is your link to the LRDG through an officer named Capt' Redfern.

I'm posting some of my bits that relate to the unit.

All dates debatable.

I'll check out the threads that you pointed me to.I was doing thread searches for the Armoured Regiment,and that's where I got stuck,I think.
