Its not that I am 100% sure.

Not a pagri badge either.

More likely a Bus Company or something like that.

I had been going to ask a similar question recently. I have had a 29AA with slightly smaller lugs and thinner brass construction for many years.

I have also seen a 30AA. I did think these might have been for the pagri patch in Malaya of those batteries in question, or shoulder titles.

I believe 22AA to be a Gunner pagri, minus its backing patch.
Norman Litchfield, the Gunner guru of such badges, depicts 21AA in his Pagri book(p35),and states that it was formed on 1Jan39 in Singapore. Mistakenly it was given this number, and as a result was subsequently renumbered on 22Jun41 as 29HAA Bty (29AA),as which it was lost to Jap on15Feb42.
Likewise 22HAA Bty was raised, renumbered (as 30HAA Bty) and lost on the same dates above.
I should be most interested in seeing/obtaining the pagri of 29 Bty, but I do have that of 30AA.

21AA was certainly used but I am still unsure of this one.

The rear loops are most unlike other RA pagri badges.

Can the original poster please provide its dimensions.

regards

Default AA titles

This is my 29AA title, came as a pair.

The 30AA I have seen is very similar in construction.

Keith,

I am suitably convinced that my previous answers were incorrect and that it is a Pagri badge.
