Queen's Own Rifles of Canada Officer's Shoulder-belt Plate

Hi all, I took a chance on a on-line auction and am very happy to add this magnificent officer's Queen's Own Rifles of Canada shoulder-belt plate to my collection. The plate has Birmingham hallmarks for 1958. The plate was the property of Major General (ret'd) Louis MacKenzie CM, OONT, MSC, and Bar, CD and recently sold at auction.

The lot also included three silver collar badges, one mess-dress silver collar badge and numerous miscellaneous small pins. The attached image has the pertinent military items. I'm honoured to add badges from the MG's early military career to my small collection of QORs material.
