Smile 11th Hussars cast silver NCO's arm badge

Hi all,

Whilst many of you will be still doubting whether you have bid enough on the latest Bosley's auction I thought I would slip this one through.

11th Hussars NCO's arm badge in cast silver 57.4 x 47.1mm on silver loops 34mm apart.

Linaker and Dine describe 11th Hussars arm badges (29.1 C) that are silver plated and solid die struck (semi cast) as being circa 1950 badges.

I assume although the sizes provided for the C type is 59.1 x 49.1mm with loops 44mm apart that in the casting process there are size differences.

Anyway I do like these arm badges, cheers Dean.

Indeed they do Dean.
Nice one by the way.
Of the 3 that I have they vary from a height of 58.84/56.71/57.85.
Of the 6ID ones, they all seem to vary by 1 to 2mm unless they
are the ones he has shown of course.

All the best, David

Thanks David - it is re-assuring to appreciate the differences that can exist in these badges. Still on the look out for more, regards Dean.
