Default 16/5th Lancers title on an epaulette slip on

A combined regimental sign, with both the rank sign, a major's crown and the regimental title with a RAC yellow cloth backing... what's the presumable vintage? Thank you for your hints and all the best, Luca

Luca,

It looks a modern home made group of badges to me.

The slide is BD cloth with raw unhemmed edges and a half slit up the front. The yellow backing also looks modern.

I think someone has just displayed some badges on cloth.

sorry

regards

Default 16/5L

Agreed - it looks like something that "maryjaneprice13" might have dreamed up. Mike

well, in any case, the price paid for the slip on was not really higher than the price one would have paid for a major's crown and a 16/5th Lancers title... I agree as the finishing as sewing is concerned, but still the yellow felt does not seem to be that recent....
