Could anyone please tell me if this Lovat Scouts shoulder title is a modern repro or the real thing? I have looked for other examples on the forum and I can find nothing to compare it with.

I think that I might have found the answer; there is a company called Divpatch.com who have a whole range of repro shoulder titles for re-enactors. They have identical shoulder titles in stock.

Only useful if you are re-enacting the postwar Royal Artillery - 540 Light AA Regiment -for whom this title was intended. Approved November 1955, introduced December 1956.
