Default Victorian 36th (Herefordshire) Regiment of Foot button

Hi all,

Is this correct that the button below, made by "Smith Kemp & Wright Birmingham" dates around 1840s?

Many thanks,

Phaethon

According to Roger in this thread Kemp ceased to be involved in the 1860s, but its possible that the back mark carried on for a period after that?
