I seem to recall an article on WW1 Australian Flying insignia in an MHS Bulletin in the 1970`s which might have shown a title like this but I cannot find the article at the moment.

MHS Bulletin February 1976 pages 84-86 "Australian Flying Corps and Central Flying School " by Robert Gray- see picture attached.

Similar title to the one in the thread but of course AFC might have been the shoulder title of other units.

Definitely Australian Flying Corps, a rare and interesting title. The CFS badges and especially the title, are even rarer

As you see my son Jack is a AFC collector together with me and as he is some where in France I shall have too ask is the Vendor selling and if so how much as you see in the photo we need another of that type to make a pair.
