Default Imp Yeo rosette badge

recent pick up, sold as a welsh collar, but Imperial yeomanry rosette badge (&collar) seems a better match.

I did a lot of searching and particulars of the badge and its size make it a match for most seen on the IY rosette.

Just need an IY badge to go with it

Hi Jerry,

I think you’re right on that one. The correct IY will have blades…

Mark, thanks for commenting, I was 99% certain what it was, but always good to get confirmation. Been after one for ages, so I guess the IY will take some time to get.

After the IY, you now would need the expensive part, the rosette itself!

I assume that finding an original on it's own would be difficult.

I finally bought a repro rosette for it, looks pretty good and could not be mistaken of something over 115 years old, though I might marker pen COPY the back of the rosette with some way of noting the metal parts are correct originals.
