Does anyone have a photo of RE Offrs' QVC capbadge? (Did they wear one?)
Thanks Chris |

Chris,
I never have, same as all ranks Royal Artillery with their wheeled gun badge. I wonder if they retained their 'Postmasters style' short peaked Forage Cap with no badge or an FS Cap with a bullion grenade on until post 1902 at least. best wishes

They've gone to the trouble of updating it with a new crown and cypher then burnished and frosted gilding

No they didn’t adopt forage cap insignia until the 1900 pattern so-called staff/naval forage cap. On the old cap they’d stuck with the simple gold lace band. They did however wear a bullion grenade on glengarry and then Torin cap, followed by the Austrian pattern. No crown on the grenade of course.
