London Irish Rifles
Do the London Irish Rifles still wear a "cap badge" or do they simply wear the caubeen and caubeen style badge and no longer wear caps in dress uniforms.
The attached picture being listed as a "Cap Badge" to the London Rifles, similar in design and size the the common KC version worn with the cap. London Irish QC Cap Badge.jpg |

LIR wear the Caubeen and badge in all orders of dress. The badge you show and a cracking one was for a beret that sadly never came to fruition. Caubeens are more expensive and a beret would be a good choice for field dress. May be that the beret is pulled right and LIR wear Caubeens pulled left was an issue.
