They both are, but, they do turn up and are not rare and you can get some superb examples with sliders for both subsequent World Wars.

It is just this older Victorian type that has been eluding me as. The design of the neck issuing the flames is a little different from my later common examples.

Well they made lots of them and they were worn well after Bertie's coronation, it was a sizeable and then, as now, a very popular regiment.

It does and that is a good old badge worn into Edwardian times until stocks had been expired.
