Default Proper Cap Badge for 7th Armored, The Desert Rats

Although I don't usually collect combat units anymore, I have always had a soft spot for the 7th Armored - The Desert Rats, so when I see their patch at a fair price I'll get it. I have enough now to set up a display case with them, but am not sure which the proper cap badge would be to put with them. My collection is not just WW2, but up to the present if that makes any difference.

Here's a picture of what I have, and I've put the mailed fist badge with it, but not sure if that is correct???

Any advise is appreciated,

Terry

PS - Sorry for the Photobucket over print, I'm contacting them about it....AGAIN!!! I contacted Photobucket and see they fixed it!
