Artists Rifles
Gentlemen, a hotly debated topic I know. I have read the previous threads, I have looked at the numerous different photos in the gallery, including the Jimmy Hill versions. My opinion is that neither of these badges look like the pictures in Kipling and king or Gaylors books, I am therefore not happy with either of them, but should they be discarded as fakes ? The badges were bought at auction and were not described as fakes, they came with a number of other badges and WW2 medals of the apparent collector. All the other badges seem to be genuine. What is the opinion of other forum members please ?

The first (left one) is bad. Not sure of the right, but it looks like it might be OK.

Both fakes.
Lots of threads on both badges and what the baddies and goodies look like. |
