Default Identify badge /pips

Hello, I don't know if this is allowed on the forum, but I have inherited the attached photos of a relative and other than 'Italy 1944) on the back of the one wearing shorts, I don't know anything about his regiment/rank etc. With your expertise, can anyone tell me anything from the uniform in the pictures?. Thank you in advance for your help

On the first two he is a 2nd Lt. in the Royal Army Service Corps (RASC).

On the second I cant quite see but he may have been promoted to a Lt. with an extra pip.

regards

In the third photo he is either a Lieutenant or a Lieutenant-Colonel depending on him having two pips or a pip and a crown. That would be rapid promotion if he's a Lieutenant-Colonel though.
