Default Late on parade

Hi Irv
Catching up with the forum after some computer problems and on reading your post I thought possibly that it was a RMLI cap badge but wondered if there was another possibility.

Attached is a picture from John's book - could your picture feature the badge top left?

Hi Ray,
The trouble is I've looked at it so hard that it's made my eye's bleed
There are a number that are obviously RMLI but the Marine at the back compared with the guy in front of him looks different. I just don't know myself, the consensus say RMLI. Paul W pointed out the entry in 'Personal Distinctions' showing the cap badge with the flaming bomb.
Thanks for your help.

Regards
Irv

Default Experimental

Irv

I have seen that badge in the flesh in someones collection - he believed it was an experimental badge and did not come into full use but John's book seems to suggest it was an issue badge.

Logic says they are all RMLI, you just wish it was a clearer photograph. I'd love to see a period picture with that cap badge in.

Or as I've just had to open the old computer I could post it my self....
the bottom three pictures are exceptionally rare, more so than the badges!
