Default Unknown lanyard

I have found this lanyard (black & orange) in a lot of British and Irish badges. I think it is worn by Irish Defence Forces but I cannot identify the corps. Thank you for you help.

Only just came across this.

If Irish defence forces it is not a corps lanyard but could well be an Infantry Battalion and the two primary contenders in my opinion are the 2nd Infantry Battalion and the 30th Infantry Battalion (both disbanded now) 28th Infantry Battalion (still active) would have been another contender but that includes a red element.

If you still need to know I have a person I know who might be able to help, just let me know and i'll follow up.

In my time these were private purchase for Infantry Battalions and made on an ad-hoc basis. My own battalion had two very different designs during in my service and both were worn simultaneously. I clung to my older design both as it was a better, longer design and it marked me out as an "old sweat"

Thus, they change quite a bit and can be difficult to identify .
