If it is of interest - there were several badges made from sheet silver, white metal and brass at one time during the beginning of WW 2 for Rhodesian army units. The sheet metal types were generally made by Keay's the Jeweller in Salisbury (Rhodesia). Have attached an example of 1 Sigs Coy I have for comparison. This white metal one has standard lugs of the time.
