Royal Navy blanking patch
Chaps, I picked this up this morning, purely as I'm not familiar with this version of the RN badge. I havent seen the green backing before. Can anyone shed any light on this for me at all? Is it a 'made up' thing, cut from something else?

2 oddities with this one. Not seen a printed one before, or the green backing. Wild guess, cadet unit? What does Mr Anodised Bob think? T ps Don’t forget, it’s your turn to buy the Bratwurst at Detling. |

I've seen something similar worn or on a flight suit but not on a blanking plate.
Do Sea Cadets even wear MTP? |

Funnily enough I drove past our contingent of Sea Cadets yesterday, they had a mix of RN blue uniform and MTP.
