I recently acquired some MTP as work shirts and On arrival this was On the right arm .
Anyone any Idea where it was used and what was On the left arm.??

A Royal Military Police NCO attached to the Special Investigation Branch serving in a Weapons Intelligence Section.
WIS began in Northern Ireland in the 1970s and have been deployed in every conflict since.
They collect data and evidence on shootings and explosions.
If on woodland dpm is pre 2011. If on Multi Terrain Pattern blanking plate would date from around 2012+ Left arm plate should be Union Flag above Formation Badge.

Just to add, not all WIS team members were RMP (so would not necessarily have the RMP badges) and not all WIS members wore WIS badges - especially in southern Iraq once the Iranians started deliberately targeting our intelligence infrastructure.

There was WIS teams also from RAFP in theatre. They wore the subdued MP badge also with the subdued black on green WIS badge
