Default Assistance required to ID badge

I am doing some research on a man who served with the British Indian Army in WW 2. He was taken PoW by the Japanese and was kept in three different PoW camps. The image of the medals attached were awarded to him. They were
14th February 1942 to July 1942. He was at camp 1 Seletar, Singapore.
July 1942 to August 1944. He was at Singapathani camp, Singapore.
August 1944 to October 1945. He was at Camp 3 Java, Dutch East Indies.

I have a photo of his cap badge which is attached and am asking if anybody can identify it for me please. Any help on the badge or the camps would be really appreciated. I am doing the research on behalf of his son who is currently serving with the Royal Corps of Signals.

Many thanks.

Dudley
