A trophy previously posted I collect to Stone Staffordshire this was Won twice by my old School Alleynes then a Grammar School.
I was very pleased to add this to my collection.

6th Cheshire R.V. prize tankard as awarded to L/Cpl. Henry Fleet, No 3 Squad, 1st Company. Chester 1870.

Apologies for the poor quality of the photographs, too much reflection on the polished surface despite the overcast light this morning.

Madras Hockey Tournament 1914. Winners 13th Brigade R.F.A. E.Sadler.

A few short months later Gnr Eustace Reginald Sadler and the 13th Brigade R.F.A. were in Flanders serving as part of the 7th (Meerut) Division.
