Default FRANCE shoulder title -- era?

Hello all, I ran across this shoulder title recently. Based on its materials and construction, can any of the Forum members offer opinions on its authenticity, and shed light on when and where this title was made or used? Thanks, Donovan (castagain)

Hello Donovan,
On picture nice good ww2 free french army shoulder title for officers.
There were free French associations all around the world to provide volunteers and funds to the French government in exile, so you can find items from all parts if the world : north and South America, Australia , New Zealand ...
Best regards .. Herve

Similar Belgium and Poland titles exist. As I understand, they were worn on service dress only.
